  1. Alright guys.. problem solved. rear defroster plug wasnt making connection. its part of the alarm system as if someone broke your rear glass. so anyone having this issue its to do with one of the defroster tabs falling off which is pretty common, fix it and the alarm issue goes away.. i just did it and over 50 remote starts with the issue and now its gone!
  2. Have had this issue since day one and so have plenty of other people, dealer has never heard of it and so far everything that has been tried including new batteries does nothing. https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/factory-remote-start-alarm-goes-off-in-winter.99398/
  3. You have to remove the entire armrest to get to it or it can be accessed from the top, I see that hole on the hinge.. I can just zip tie the harness there so it's more secure and then essentially after that it should just free hang, nothing else should pinch it unless closing the lid pinches it.. So word of advice to everyone that this doesnt work for at all.. check the wiring voltage lol or if its intermittent then check for a break in the harness!
  4. Well found my problem today.. decide to check the pins.. then said to myself oh wait I did and the factory plug was always mint, but decided to just feel up on the long harness until I found a dead spot almost all the way down where the harness submerged into the center console and said no way... and yep wires were cut.. it had worked before so I guess opening and closing the arm rest over time caused a kink spot but there was no sign of it on the outer wiring wrap.. go figure..
  5. Hey guys, So i have combed thru all 35 pages of this thread and just about did as much research as i could. i feel i have an unique issue and maybe someone can shine some light in my direction.. so I have a 2015 GMC Yukon Denali. did the magnet removal mod to my wireless charging unit and it actually worked great (every day) but before doing this i had ordered the 2018 unit with adapter harness since it was the for sure fix, i got it and installed it and bam it worked right away, and thats it the next day it never worked again, about a week later i swap back my old charging unit and it does not work either. I have looked at every single fuse in the entire truck and nothing is blown.. anything special that i missed?
