So they'll be waiting on a headliner and kept you in the courtesy car? While I'm waiting on a headliner I am driving my truck. Considering you bought through Van, which is in higher end Scottsdale, I'm surprised they stuck you in a Trax. I just came back from my attempted headliner cleaner. My service rep initially called yesterday saying it came out great, but he checked it out this morning and noticed the stain was still there and went ahead and ordered a new headliner. I appreciate that he was proactive on his end about moving forward with a new headliner. He said it should be here in 3-5 days. A head guy/director mentioned that GM would probably not reimburse them for the new headliner and installation. I thought that was odd and doesn't seem right.
Ya some director and head foreman checked it out after pointing it out to my service advisor. I'm trying to keep cool about everything. Ill raise hell if things go sideways. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
Went to pickup my truck today after they sealed the spoiler. They used a black colored sealant and left some residue on the top of the rear window. But looks like they didn't even attempt to clean the headliner. I left it with them to see if they can remove the stain. I was upfront with the service advisor that if the headliner wasn't perfect that I would ask them to submit for a replacement through GM. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
So I dropped off my truck this morning. I just received a phone call that it is only a bad seal on the rear window. I asked about cracks on the window or window frame or if the seal is bad on the spoiler and he said no to all of the above. I'm not sure if anyone else has received this diagnosis, but I will definitely be dousing it once I bring it home.
Wow, I'm assuming the time consuming part of the caulk job was getting in a headliner? I just dropped mine off at the dealer today. They put me in an equinox. I'm not going to be happy in it for long if it takes 5+ days.
My truck is awesome except for the occasional transmission jump when I'm trying to inch my way into parking and I just joined the rear window leak club at 6,000 miles on the dot. The rear window leak scares the hell out of me.
Nope. When I used it Costco will hook you up with dealers in your area that honor the Costco auto program pricing. Once I submitted my request on the Costco auto program website a dealer emailed me asking what I was looking for. After I let them know they gave me a price sheet. I assume you could always ask a local dealer if they do Costco and ask what the price would be going that route. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
