  1. After more investigation, the tire is hitting the UCA at only full lock. It even hits when I am not towing anything. I am think spacers but do not wanna trim my wheel studs. So I am trying to decide what size I need. And if they will be reliable during towing my boat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. So it would rub about the same? I just don’t want to get new tires a rub more. It’s only full lock right now. But if spacers work I would get Bora spacers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Will you have to trim the wheel studs on the 1.25” spacer? Let me know if that works for you. I am wanting to get larger tires. But if I get 275/65R20 Ridge Grapplers, which are a little narrower that stock. Do you think that would solve my issue? I was planning on getting 285/60R20 but I need to figure this out first. 4. Exactly. I am confused also. I have never heard of anyone running a leveling kit that included a preload spacer. My thoughts are to probably remove the 0.5” spacer and see if the rubbing goes away. And go from there. Would removing the bottom spacer and getting a full 2.5” spacer on the top do anything for me or would I be back in the same boat I am now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah RC said the preload spacer is only for stamped steel control arms. But this is the first I am hearing of a preload spacer. I was wondering if anyone is running the RC 2.5” leveling kit with the preload spacer? I will try and take pictures today. It’s the 20” snowflake SLT rims, with +27mm offset Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. So RC just told me I need to remove the 0.5” top spacer and purchase the preload spacer they sell to stop the tire from rubbing the UCA at full lock. Does this make sense to anyone? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. What UCAs have people been running? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I am using a motofab 2.5” leveling kit (2” lower spacer, 0.5” upper spacer). I noticed it after I towed a boat for almost 4 hours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. What UCAs are people running with a 2.5” Leveling Kit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I have just noticed a popping sound with I turn, and noticed the A-arm has marks from metal to metal rubbing. I am looking to get new tires, most likely 285/60R20 with stock rims. What do I need to do to fix the rubbing and to fit those tires? Would spacers fix this issue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah I’m with you. I care if it rubs or not. I would like a larger tire or just more of an aggressive tire. I am just going to have to get the tire store to try out different sizes. But your trucks looks real good man! I’m leaning towards the Ridge Grapplers [emoji2957] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I’m am considering the Ridge Grapplers. How do you like them, would you recommend? Also, it seems the rubbing issue is just different on any 17-18 Sierra. Would a .25” or 0.5” spacer fix the rubbing issue? I need to get under my truck and check the distance I have now between the tire/rim and UCA.
  13. Largest tires on stock 20's leveled Sierra

Looking for info for my 2017 GMC Sierra with 2.5” motofab leveling kit. I want to keep stock rims but go with larger tire. What is the largest tire I can go? I have read some people say run any larger than stock you will come in contact with the UCA on the 2017s. Is this true? Looking at Ridge Grappler or Wildpeak AT3w in 275/60R20, 275/65R20, or 285/60R20. Thanks
  14. Hey Guys, I have been reading this forum for awhile and seen different answers. But I got a 2.5” Motofab top and bottom mount leveling kit (similar to RC 2.5”) installed on my 2017 GMC Sierra CC Z71 and I’m interested in larger tires and keeping my stock rims. I have read that larger tires might come in contact with the UCA. I’m interested in the Ridge Grappler or the Wildpeaks AT3w. I am wondering what size tires will fit with no rubbing or no contact with the UCA. Please inform. Possibly looking at the following sizes: 275/60R20 275/65R20 285/60R20 285/55R20 295/55R20 305/55R20 Just looking for the most bang for my buck. Thanks in advance.
