What's up everybody I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 with the 4l80 transmission I lost my drive but I can still shift all my gears manually I think it's in the valve body you know not getting proper flow going to the clutches and so on just wondering if I could pick anybody's mind what they might think it is before I take it to the trans shop for diagnosis because I don't have a check engine light so my scanner won't read that one thing I am doing once it's repaired is to get it to run cooler so what I am going to do is there's an internal thermostat and once you get into the thermostat housing you pulled a thermostat thread 1/2 inch threads with a butt plug going in so everything will still circulate and the transmission fluid will stay super cool probably run an average of maybe 160 to 180 and then I'm going to put a external trans cooler probably like a 24000 simply because these Transmissions are known to run hot
