  1. So about a month ago my truck had a CEL go on, I stop by AutoZone and they scan it and say it's P050B Cold Start/Rough Idle, I put in some new gas, planned on making an appointment the next day and that morning the light went away and it's been driving fine, until I go to work a few days ago. It was fine driving to work and the whole time leading up to this point, then I go in for my 8 hour shift from 0000-0800 and it's been cold out that night (around 35-45F) and that morning I get in and the light goes on. I scan it the next day and it's the same code.... Yesterday I put in some Lucas injector cleaner and some 89 Octane from Shell as I usually use 87, still from shell, but I'm hoping a slightly higher Octane and the cleaner help some. I made an appointment with the dealer, but their earliest appointment isn't until December (seriously WTF), so fingers crossed. The last few codes it's had have solved themselves basically. Is it just picky on gas and doesn't like the cold?
  2. My doublecab Silverado has a few more inches in leg room than my doublecab (largest cab) Tacoma did and with considerably more width as well. Even in the front seats, I'm not on top of my wife when she's in the passenger seat of the Silverado, like she was before when we would both be in the Tacoma. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  3. I recently traded in my Loaded at the time 2017 TRD Off Road Doublecab Tacoma for a 2016 Double cab Z71 Silverado with low mileage because the gas mileage was shit, the infotainment system was extremely behind and my Wife's 2018 LS Trax had better features for nearly half the cost new. The only thing I miss about the Taco was the reliability and it's trailriding abilities. It was basically a four door Jeep with a bed. While the Silverado is a battleship in regards to turn radius, but I needed more cab space, more bed space and I love the 5.3L V8 compared to the 3.5L akinson cycle V6. 4. Hmmm really? I thought that lugs for an OEM wheel and aftermarket were different? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  5. So I just scored a deal on a set of 20" Mayhem missile's with some Nitto Terragrap G2s with good treat life left, the only issue is I still need lugs for them....What lugs would I need to get for these? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  6. So in February I bought a clean 2016 Double Cab 1500 Z71 Silverado with 33k Miles on it. The odometer is at 36500-ish miles, and yesterday morning it was shifting hard, not as much power and the check engine light came on. I went to Auto Zone and pulled the code P219B which is a bank 2 air/fuel in balance. I took it to the dealer and made a appointment for it to be worked on. I purchased the Platinum protection package and the power train warranty is still in coverage, but if it's a bad O2 sensor or fuel injector I'm not sure if I will have to pay out of pocket, which is frustrating considering the truck JUST went out of bumper to bumper warranty and I just bought the truck a few months back so needless to say I'll be pissed if they make me pay out of pocket for a repair.... Today however, the CEL is still on but driving the truck to work was driving as normal again and I was getting 17.7 MPG in the city, which yesterday it was getting between 12-14 mpg. I'm hoping that maybe it was just bad gas, but this is really irritating to say the least. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  7. So I have the opportunity to buy secondhand a set of Mayhem Missile 8060s in 20x9(I think) in +18 offset with Nitto Terra Grappaler G2s in 275/55r20 for $500 and it's pretty tempting. I have a 2016 Stock Z71 Silverado. I plan on a 2-2.5 level in the near future but I would like to hold off on that for a little while and I want to know if this set up would pose any issues as is?
