Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum and looking for some help. I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab 4wd LTZ with tow package and sits on 20's right now. I really want my truck to sit higher up. Had to compromise with my short wife so cant go too high, 2" top. I'm a mechanic but never lifted a truck before. Where should I start. Tires and wheels first or lift/leveling kit? I would really like to put 32 or 33's on it with 18" rim. The 20's make the ride kinda rough. The size that's on there now is 275/55/20, pretty sure 32's will fit no problem since these tires r at 31 something. How much height would just a leveling kit give me? Is it easier to just do a lift? I dont want anything that will disrupt traction control or have to change gear ratios. Btw I was just wondering, does a Chevy dealer, ones that sell new cars, do lifts in their shops? Hopefully someone can give me some guidance on all of this. Want to make sure everything's done correctly and I get the right parts.
