Yup also the 6.0 Vortecmax. Almost got a truck with one, that didn’t work out though. I was definitely wanting one since i doubt the stock 10 bolt will be real pleased with all the new power and much larger tires. And yes definitely shorter driveshaft, going to be a 2 piece.

Me too, took me quite a while to finally get my hands on a decent one. Thankfully the whole setup out of the Denali is close to complete with wiring harness and ecm. I’m sure it will be missing some components but we’ll see. Thank you for that tcase #. I’ll most likely try n make a build thread, it will be a long process. I have a Dirtking long travel kit for the front and plan to do some motor work before it goes in with plans of a supercharger hopefully. Thanks for the reply!

Hello, just picked up a 2007 Silverado 1500 z71 that has a 5.3 with a 4L60. I plan to swap in a 6.2 with a 6L80. Before you ask why I didn't just buy one with that setup is because I got an extended cab with the extra short bed. Which was only offered from 07-09. 6.2 wasn't an option then. I found a good deal on a setup out of a 2012 Denali with everything needed to do the swap, the only issue is the Denali was AWD. I know I will need to use a 4wd transfer case, hopefully my stock one, but I'm unsure of anything else I will need to do to make this compatible. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.
