  1. This was my intake valves on a 2018 sierra 5.3L. at 27k with no catch can and 0w-20 oil. When i did my cam swap i cleaned them up and added a catch can and switched to 0W-30 oil. I can say the engine sounds much quieter with the 30wt and the catch can works great. Haven’t pulled the intake off agin to check if the valves are any cleaner though, however the can does capture more than i thought it would.
  2. New LS4 valve springs going on. Also went with trunnion bushings for the rocker arms. They are supposed to be better and wont fail and dump a bunch of needle bearings all through out your engine causing a real bad day.
  3. Dirty intake valves after only 27,000 miles. Installed a catch can to prevent this from happening any more.
  4. Here is a link to another tread that i posted all the mods I have done to the truck. All were done in my home garage myself and im very happy with the results.

  6. So here are links of videos i made for my youtube channel going over my truck build. There are 4 videos starting from about a year ago that go over all the mods done to the truck. I feel there is some good info in them some not covered by other videos on the same topic. Here is a list of mods done with the links to follow. All mods done in my home garage, myself and could not be happier with the results. 7. The first monthly diagnostics report said it was unable to connect with the truck, and it has happened one other time as well. Last months report was fine. Im really not sure why its inconsistent. I have only unplugged the device one time, and that was for the first dealer oil change.
  8. I Put on a Range within the first month of buying my truck new. I have about 9k miles on it now without any trouble or check engine lights. However it wont let Onstar run there test. I did not sign up for Onstar services so it’s no big deal to me. Much rather have the truck in V8 mode all the time, it drives much better. After the 5/60 runs out i will most likely put a tune on it.
