Programming the Transfer Case Control Module is not necessary. All fixed.

It turns out, there is no voltage at the sensor as step 3 implies. The sensor furthest to the front was unplugged. It was plugged in at the sensor but about 18" forward of the sensor there is a connector on top of the transmission tale. It was unplugged. I plugged it in and everything was fixed. When I bought the pickup The "Service 4WD" was on. I replaced the Transfer Case Encoder Motor because it had a wires that had been cut. Connecting the wires may have fixed it. I just bought a new one. 4WD works and speedo/tranny work. It turns out if you cut the Encoder Motor wires and unplug the Front Axel Actuator, you don't need the front sensor. Thanks for all the support!

There is a third sensor above the front driveshaft. Wire colors are Yellow and Purple. The wires to the passenger side are Blue and Green. I believe these to be the ones the wiring diagram refers to. Neither one has voltage at the sensor. Will someone look at step 3 of the test procedure? Am I misinterpreting this? If I disconnect the EBCM there would certainly be no voltage at the sensor. I'm unplugging the sensor and testing there with EBCM connected. I signed up Alldatadiy for a month. It's per car, so. It does have a test procedure. It's very vague but I'll try it tomorrow.

While inspecting wiring I noticed there appears to be a speed sensor on the other side (passenger) of the transfer case? 2005 Sierra 4WD CrewCab.

I have a speed sensor on the transfer case. Is that the one C0055 references? Does anyone know where I can look at a wiring diagram? The speed sensor and the O2 wires seem shorted or?

2005 GMC Sierra 1500 4WD CrewCab 5.3. After in stalling a Transfer Case Encoder Motor (Successfully), the speedometer jumps around Brake, ABS lights on and DIC says Service Brake System and transmission is all over the place. Code C0055 (Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit). I checked speed sensor on Transfer Case, seems unharmed. Wiring seems undisturbed. It seems unlikely that it just went bad? Any ideas? To confirm, The Rear Wheel Speed Sensor is the sensor on the top of the Transfer Case?

Worth mentioning... 0053 Bank 1, Sensor 1 P0059 bank 2 sensor 1 P0134 Bank 1 Sensor 1 P0135 Bank 1 Sensor 1 P0154 bank 2, sensor 1 P0155 bank 2, sensor 1 I mention this because I wonder if the wiring on these runs together. Also has C0379. I think I overlooked this because I was focused on the C0055.

2005 GMC Sierra 1500 4WD CrewCab 5.3. After replacing Transfer Case Encoder Motor, is it necessary to do a relearn on the Transfer Case Control Module? I'm not looking for guesses or anecdotal information. So, if you are not certain, please don't respond.
