  1. Depends on sensitivity. One time they had measurements over at DIYMA. Not just about ohm rating. If you have a 2 ohm speaker with a sensitivity of 85db and a 4 ohm that has 94db. The 4 ohm will be as loud or louder with the same power.
  2. I just put Audiofrog GS25’s in mine. Fit perfect and sound incredible. Not too many options if your just looking something you can just bolt in.
  3. The key to replacing factory speakers is match the ohm rating and get the highest sensitivity speaker you can get. In some cases you can get a lower ohm speaker if the factory amp is capable. With that said, you can have a 2ohm factory speakers and 4 ohm replacements and the replacements will be same or have higher output if the sensitivity is in that 94-95db range. Most people will buy a higher end speaker with a sensitivity in the 86-90db and wonder why they lost volume.
  4. Probably the rear seat. There is a metal piece that rattles when the seats are in the down position. It’s part of the hinge. Both outboard seats have it. Sort of looks like this. Mine is silver though. I had to put some foam tape where it rattles.
  5. Anyone else upper glove box rattle? Doesn’t rattle when open, but closed. It appears to be the plastic linkage inside the glove box for the latch. Tap on the glove box and you can hear it. Doesn’t seem to be a way to get into the upper box to inspect it.
  6. Do you think the 1” Kicker will fit? Do you have any pics of the Kicker you have installed?
  7. I tried, it sounded out of phase. Something must be different on the left channel vs right. Makes sense that most installers are using the right channel. I tried the subwoofer channel and the bass seem to roll off vs the right front channel. I would advise to use the right front only. I have the 12 speaker Bose in the Denali Ultimate.
  8. Hello, Those of you installing subs and tapping into the speaker wires by a LOC. Do you tap both the front left and right channels or just the right? I typically use both, but noticed most seem to use only the right front channel.
  9. Some of the best sound systems in the world of SQ Comps have a single 8” of 10” subwoofer with a basic 2-way or 3-way setup. It’s about the install/location and the ability to tune.
  10. I think people don’t understand what a well balanced system is suppose to sound like. They equate distortion with inflated bass with good sound. These systems today are very well balanced without exaggerated bass. If anything they could improve the sound stage by widening it.
