  1. What inline fuse are you using for the 40?
  2. Is anyone able to assist in this?
  3. Can anyone help me on what wire or fuse they tap into for a 12v ignition source for the amp box?
  4. Is there anyone that can confirm a 12v ignition source in the passenger side fuse box? As well as the recommended inline fuse?
  5. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/218485-how-to-install-a-dash-cam-on-a-2019-silverado/?do=findComment&comment=2268314 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Someone also mentioned they managed to tap into this source, which is an ignition source as well. Passenger side fuse box. I’m just curious which would be best route. I also heard about the heated steering wheel fuse tap but am unsure if I need a 5 or 7.5 fuse to supplement the in-line. I really appreciate all the responses and feedback on this confusion I’m having. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The grey connector has a yellow and purple wire, if that is possible? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I know the camaro this came out of had it tap into the grey wire on the amp in the rear but I don’t know if GM is universal on their wiring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. That’s my main worry. I have battery ground and power, then running the remote wiring for the box to turn on with the ignition. I’ve heard pink wire and blue/brown Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Do you happen to know what color? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I believe it is 16 AWG. It’s for a PA control head unit to power up with ignition. Link to the installation packet is, https://www.whelen.com/install/145/14570.pdf . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I need the normal 12V tap wire. I appreciate the help also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I have searched the forum up and down, including google as well as forum search tool and for the life of me, cannot find anywhere that speaks of the 2019 Silverado ignition wire location/color to tap into, enabling a control box to power on alongside the sound system powering on. I know my truck has the Bose sound system if there’s an amp that I could tap into for power possibly? I’ve searched the forum for the sound system topics and haven’t had any luck there either. I’d greatly appreciate any assistance in location of this wire. I apologize if this does not belong in this sub forum also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Autozone has a heat resistant “temporary” rattle can that would be more beneficial than plastidip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
