  1. dealer replaced the plastic bushing .... thinking like this is 6 or 7 times now. they cant fix it to last so heres is how Im going to fix the issue. when I get time going to be making call to GM cooperate about this matter. dealer says all parts have been replaced minus the tailgate itself...nothing else to fix! they dont know what else to do to it.....poor design and weak part they claim. then followed up with comment of, they have seen a few break but Im am the only one with repeated almost monthly issue of it breaking. https://roninfactory.com/collections/chevy-gmc/products/chevy-tailgate-assist-strut
  2. It's included...just the idea have to make a 45min drive a dealer, wait on truck. Inconvenience for repair that not lasting. Poor design
  3. dealership now will not give me a bushing to install myself....nope its so complicated and time consuming to install, must be performed by "certified" mechanic! Obviously the dealership is cashing in on a 10second repair? Not to mention that "certified" mechanics have already replaced it many times. I will put an aftemarket device on it before pay 41 bucks for that flimsy bushing, Will be calling cooperate soon Dealership acts as if its a very rare issue.....yeah OK. My truck is 2018 with 20k miles, apparently dummy me does not open tailgate properly and forbid the use of bed for actually hauling firewood and such....thats abuse....grocery bags only? once a week at the most on opening tailgate, no coolers or sitting on tailgate....abuse?
  4. Mines been repaired at least 6x... worthless junk. If I use tailgate often for hauling wood and such...3 or 4 weeks it's broken again. Dealership has replaced all kinds of parts...soon as the plastic bushing part on passenger side breaks....slam goes the tailgate again. Junk! Not worth the trip to dealership for me anymore
  5. 2018 z71 with 285/65/18 STT Pro tires, Zone 2in front and back, 1.5" Bora wheel spacers on all 4
  6. I just started using the Amsoil Sig. Series in my 2018 5.3 with the EA017 filter....its 2yrs old with 17k on it. Probably still change it every 6months though. The oil filters made so much better than the PF63e
  7. if you drive much or slightly fatigued the DRL makes it easier to notice the vehicle and the system also turns the headlights on in dim situations where the lazy, tough guy, does not.....again yes for safety. It amazes me how many people have newer vehicle driving down road with no lights on when almost dark....just not sure what the point is. But hope somebody who does these mods to disable safety and gets in accident, with damages....looses a mega lawsuit
  8. I have the Cooper STT Pro 285/65/18 with a 2inch Zone suspension kit, and stock wheels 2018 Z71...was on the fence about the 1.25 or 1.5in wheel spacer. I know my wheel has pockets, but many are saying trim required with the 1.25 inch...
  9. Kevin77rogers set up with the 285/65/18 and 1.5inch spacers...is there any rubbing and if so how bad?
