Getting into developer mode worked! I should be able to enable USB Debugging and install Andriod APKs using "Pure APK Installer". I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the advice!

Trying to force Android .apks into the infotainment system to allow the use of 3rd party apps. There has to be a way to boot into the recovery console as this is an Android OS. If there is a way to access using an SSH terminal that would be helpful as well. If anyone has any info on how to boot into the recovery console, please post. I'm not holding my breath on this one but it's worth a try... 2020 Chevrolet 2500 Highcountry

I have a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Highcountry. They have added a "timeout" to the system that turns ACC to OFF after about 10 minutes disabling the WiFi. I have tried a few things to possibly circumvent the timeout function including exiting from passenger door, leaving the wireless key fob in the vehicle, leaving it unlocked, etc. No luck. I really wish I could find a harness that I can add in that keeps constant power to the wifi module. Wifi module has to be pretty low power and I have duel batteries in the truck. Also, would be nice to hack into the infotainment software itself as it is an open source Android platform... Anyways, if anyone comes up with anything PLEASE POST! I will do the same.
