So I have a 2008 Silverado with the rear park assist, when I bought the truck it had some broken wires in the harness so I went to the dealership to get a new one. Replaced the whole harness and in reverse it works great, however when I put it in drive it’ll display “service park assist” when I pass 5mph accelerating and again when passing 20 mph while decelerating. I’ve tested all four sensors by having my brother hold something in front of each and got my lights and beeps on each sensor. I don’t have a hitch installed and it’s no where near cold enough for water or ice to bother it and it happens EVERYTIME I go anywhere. Any help besides disabling it would be much a appreciated as it’s driving me crazy driving around town.
