    Another option is No Splice Plug-N-Play Tailgate Fix - GMC Multipro Chevy Multi-Flex Trucks. I haven't bought this yet but it looks like a reasonable solution that imho GMC and Chevrolet should have included with the multi-pro tailgate option.
