  1. bkeith5050, Thanks for the response. Was really on the edge of whether or not to install. I was concerned with the current sensor on the starter ground and perhaps getting some kind of error code or other electrical damage. I was hoping to come across others who have this system in their GM vehicles and the configuration they used. Really glad to hear the ruggedness of the charger. Do you use anything (breaker, switch, etc.) to manually disconnect the charger and/or aux battery if necessary?
  2. Looking to install a dual battery system under the hood of my 2014 Silverado using the Redarc bcdc 25 amp charger (dc to dc charger). My only question is where to ground the auxiliary battery. I have seen videos and blogs that instruct to ground to the starter battery, but on the other hand I am told by Redarc to not ground to negative terminal on starter battery and instead to chassis/body. Which would be the correct way to connect the auxiliary ground?
