Hopefully someone pipes up. It feels like the speaker is under the console and for some reason I thought the amp was there. The back seat would be much better Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
So how do you get the Center console out. Do you have to remove the seats? I can't find any videos showing how to remove it. It's all for 2018 and prior. I finally received the adapter and I'm ready to do the install in the morning. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
I wish it would show google directions. The gmc nav program is horrible...same with voice. Someone please hack it. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Further to this. I will try the other wires tomorrow. LLC wants 50 USD for shipping which is crazy. I'll see what I can find tomorrow. I'll let you know how I make out. Learning lots about my truck though! Lol Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Yeah I tried booking it up to a speaker and no sound. Both wires looked exactly like the picture. Thicker than regular too. I took it right off the bottom just like in the pic. There was another set all tapee up hanging loose that wasn't secured to the floor so I didn't touch those. I'm thinking I'm just gonna get the LLC bypass harness and just plug and play it. Easier and less headache. I may look at the other wires under there tomorrow but it's 36C here and hot as hell. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Thanks I may have to go that route unfortunately or just pay a shop to do it. Its not like other vehicles I've done. Frustrating as hell. I've got the amp signal but my LOC isn't doing anything for it. The signal goes in but nothing comes out. I'm thinking maybe it's not a sound signal wire. About to throw in the towel. So I found those 2 wires and tapped into them. Both putting out approclx 6.1v. I have a PAC LOC hooked up so only 1 speaker is supposed to get a signal. However I hook everything up and nothing comes out. MY PAC is dual channel but I imagine if I hook 1 side up I should get a signal. I only have the 1 sub on the amp. Thoughts? Ok great, thanks. I just want a small sub as well. Maybe I'll be fine without cutting the anc. Worth a shot. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
I just saw a post about this. Looks easy enough. I just want a sub added to my system that's it. I was told I'd have to disable the ANC? How do I go about doing that? Thanks. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
That looks great but how did you disconnect the ANC and where did you get your power wire and remote wire for your amp from? Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Any how to Videos or posts for this? I have a 2020 GMC 3500hd SLT with the premium Bose setup. Where should I be tapping into? I have a Pac LOC converter I need to wire in. On my 2018 ford I did it behind the dash. Can't do that with this vehicle. I found out the hard way. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Bowtie, does any part of the centre console have to be removed? I can't get that piece out no matter how much force I put on it. It's almost like something is stopping it. I'm thinking I might have to take out the entire centre console just to be able to move that tiny piece of plastic to get at the screws? Any ideas?
