  1. The UV leak detector will be the next step. I’ve seen the videos on the condenser weld leaks and read all the threads about the ridiculous back ordering of parts and GMs refusal to admit there’s a problem on their trucks but covered their SUVs ? Trying to get a grasp on what this ultimately will cost and as a kicker I can’t recharge the system myself 143a isn’t legal in Canada without a licence to use it.
  2. Good afternoon all, The A/C in my 2014 Silverado just went (I’m aware this is a massive problem in 2014’s etc.) it’s currently blowing straight up hot air which is just wonderful in 90 plus degree temperatures. Before it went there was a strange hissing noise coming from behind the dash when the A/C button was activated. It has since stopped hissing. When I went under the hood I found evidence of a fresh leak but it’s way down on my oil cooler lines. Can anybody give me some insight on this problem please and thank you?
