    Have a 2014 GMC Sierra and my son has a 2017 Silverado. Neither truck has a brake controller, factory or aftermarket. When we hook to my 16' utility trailer, the brakes on the trailer lock up. Have read several reviews concerning factory controllers, but nothing about trucks with no controller at all. Discovered that the brake wire on the truck is hot, no brake being applied.
