I appreciate the feedback and to my surprise, went to the dealership and they told e it was a mistake as they brought the truck in on a dealer trade and did not order the "commercial" spec themselves. Thought I was going to have a fight but for $1500, went from a 6600 km 2500 AT4 [ needed a windshield] up to a new 3500 AT4 with extras. I am glad there is a shortage of used trucks as this 2500 AT4 is headed south of the border. So, I would have taken a 2500 without the "commercial" spec but they had none available and the ride on the 3500 seems fine. Again, thank you for the feedback and will pay better attention to the vehicle spec information next time.

No ******....I should have said I am in Canada but is this some spec [ -10000 gvw] you need to meet to save on tax or insurance in the USA?

Hi...just noticed the max payload decal on my side door and has a rating of 776 kg or 1709 lbs. This alarms me as I didn't look when I purchased and only went of the website with a crew cab and 6.9 box that showed 3600 lbs. I have had an 11 , 15 , 17 and19 Chev LTZ crewcab with 6.5 box Duramax and payload was roughly the same. So, it appears I now can not legally haul 2 sleds on a Truckboss deck which will be a problem? Can anyone confirm with their own 2500 AT4 crew, std bed what the inside of the door states? Thank you!
