  1. I visually wen through the wiring harness and everything seems to be good and intact. Got it scanned: B0958: Parking assist rear sensor left corner circuit, open circuit (Symptom 04). U18A6: Lost communication with right objection detection control module on dedicated bus 1 (Symptom 00) U0232: Lost communication with side object detection control module - left (Symptom 00)
  2. Update: in my original post I noted that the tailgate fell too fast and bounced off of the cable. Whoever assembled this tailgate didn't install the dampner bushing or tighten down the cap screw that locks in the ez lift tork rod. Now it works perfectly. Starting to investogate the parking sensors now.
  3. Good info. It is hooked up but not clipped into its bracket. It has 2 plugs.
  4. Not yet. I briefly crawled under the back of the truck last night and saw that almost none of the harness clips are clipped in place inside the bumper and also, there is a small module that is just lying on top of the spare tire. Obviously someone had that bumper off and didn't feel like reinstalling everything properly. I was going to drop the spare tire and take a look but the spare tire/tire iron kit isn't there. I'm going to borrow one tomorrow. The combination of the parking sensors, blind spot sensors and tailgate malfunction had me really concerned that the wiring was screwed up back there but now I'm hoping something is just unhooked.
  5. The latches were both reversed (auxiliary gate latches used on main gate and vice versa) and on the wrong sides of the gate. It works perfectly now. Thanks for your insights, guys.
  6. I'm thinking you may be onto something with this. I noticed today that while the bed itself is dirty and obviously had been used, the bedlined portion of the tailgate is brand new looking. I'm wondering what was disassembled / reassembled incorrectly. I'll update after some investigating.
  7. Out of warranty. Yes, the buttons are reversed.
  8. I just picked up this 2020 2500hd and its got a few glitches. The Multipro tailgate isn't working correctly. 1. It drops too quickly/heavily. I replaced the right side bushing, which wasn't there at all, but it still isn't good. What else helps with tailgate weight? 2. When I use the dash button tailgate release or the key fob button, it opens the small tailgate and not the whole thing. Thoughts?
  9. Thanks! Great info. Where are the blind spot sensors located?
  10. I just picked up a 2020 AT4 HD Dmax and I get two messages on startup. Service Park Assist System Service Side Detection System Neither system works at all. Any advice on what to look for would be appreciated.
  11. I'm planning on picking up a 2016 - 2019 2500 dmax at some point in the next year. The problem is that I want the most bells and whistles I can get while retaining the jump seat. The one option that I cant seem to find in conjunction with the jump seat is ventilated seats. Can a truck with oem heated leather seats be upgraded to also be ventilated? I.e. is the appropriate harness already installed, etc. Thanks!
