  1. Well let’s just say I was a little tight backing up into the garage and now I need a new passenger side mirror. Mine is/was just power heated. It was also painted the color or my truck which is graphite metallic. The only one I can find that’s an exact gym replacement, painted is on eBay for a set which is $225. My question is do you guys know of any aftermarket mirrors for around that price that aren’t junk and would possibly be an upgrade.
  2. Poking around my truck I found this under my rear seat by my spare tire tool kit. It is zip tied to a hook and looks like it’s there from the factory but it’s empty. Anyone knows what goes in there. I was thinking maybe lug nuts security bit?
  3. So giving someone a ride to work one day and he spilled a pan of pot roast all over. Wasn’t really his fault but now my truck smells like fat grease from the pot. I pulled my passenger seat and scrubbed the carpet with stain and oder removal. Also shampooed the carpet about 4 times with a home shampoo/vacuum. The stains are all gone but the smell is still there. Does anyone have any recommendations on tricks to get the smell out? My next option would be saying a detailer to professionally shampoo it followed by replacing the carpet or getting rid of the truck at the extreme. Anyone have any tips or anything? It’s all cleaned from what I can tell, I pulled the panels off and sipped it all up but can’t get rid of the smell
  4. So I read from page 450 to this last one. I have a 2018 1500 with factory 18” wheels with obviously stamped UCA’s. I’m looking for a little beefier look but don’t want a lift. I’m torn between the bilstein 5100s all around at the top setting and a bigger lock in the rear (for 1” of lift in the rear). The Eibach pro leveling kit. (Possibly with springs but heard it tides rougher with the pro springs vs stock) and a bigger block in rear (again to get 1” higher). Or possibly the ready lift 2.25” leveling kit and again a bigger rear block. I don’t want the truck to ride like crap my questions are with bilstein and the eibach kit will I still need aftermarket UCAs with bigger tires? And what would be a better tire to run without rubbing 285/65-18 or 275/70-18. Or am I missing a tire size. I don’t want to worry about it rubbing I understand there are a lot of issues with rubbing with factory wheels but I really like my stock wheels and don’t want to have to replace them. So what would you guys recommend between the 3 and tire size? UCA replacement. I saw a lot of talk about 20” factory wheels but not 18”
  5. Just curious if anyone has bought anything from them. I found the leveling 5100 shocks as well as the 1” lift shocks for the rear did $379 here which is cheaper than I have been able to find. Does anyone know if it’s a legit site or not? https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/chevy-gmc/silverado-1500/14-17-chevygmc-silverado-1500sierra-1500-4wd-bilstein-5100-0-1-8-front-0-1-rear-lift-shocks/?gclid=CjwKCAiA8Jf-BRB-EiwAWDtEGim7fOReoUYF-LSbL1idu5ltm76UHzQ5XmuC5go4ZrcNSMwWbX_ATBoC_5UQAvD_BwE
  6. I’m a little late to the party but after dealing with a slow leak on my truck I’m ready for new tires and a leveling kit but wanted to ask a couple tires. My truck is a 18 LT. I don’t go offroading I just want a little more clearance and bigger tire for northern MI winters. so I don’t need anything too hd which after reading seems like the 5100 will give me that along with a better ride. I know the fronts can go up to around 1.8”. Do the backs raise it at all? Or what do you guys use for the rear? Also where have you guys bought yours from I didn’t really see, the, on the bilstein website. Any input is appreciated. Also I read through a lot of the posts on here just looking for a little more info. infound this which looks like the front adjustable plus a strut spacer and 1” rear lift. But I imagine it doesn’t ride as good as without the strut spacer. https://socalsupertrucks.com/bilstein-leveling-2-5-lift-5100-shocks-2014-2018-silverado-sierra-1500/ and these from bilsteinlifts.com is that the actual bilstein website? It says the rear shocks are 0-1”. Is rear adjustable also or what brings the rear up. https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/chevy-gmc/silverado-1500/14-17-chevygmc-silverado-1500sierra-1500-4wd-bilstein-5100-0-1-8-front-0-1-rear-lift-shocks/ Sorry for all the questions Im sure they have been answered but I can’t find them. Just want to make sure I buy the right part
