  1. Took it in and they found two loose wires and replaced the thermostat. Runs like a champ.
  2. I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT and recently started having an issue of the coolant temperature gage not registering a temp. This is accompanied by the cooling fan kicking on full blast even after engine and ignition shutdown. The fan will run for a few minutes which in turn killed the battery. (I realize I should have disconnected it). Based on my lack of knowledge it seems to be a coolant temp sensor. I have tried to do some reading and have found a few people with the same or very similar issues, but have not been able to find a fix. Hoping someone has actually figured this one out.
  3. I am having the same issue with my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT. Temp gauge will not read anything and the fan will kick on full blast after shutoff which in turn killed the battery. No other problems seem to be occurring. Wondering if there were any solutions found?
