  1. Cam, Thanks for the idea, and I probably should have added in the post that the battery tests good and cranks another V8 based vehicle after i charged it, it also holds, and has been holding 12.2 volt, so the battery is likely not not the problem. I want to make sure everyone takes note that the security light is solid on, not flashing, generally when there are paslock problems, the light flashes and shuts the truck down according to every post i find about paslock issues, this is not the case here, this is a solid on security light and everything is locked out.. no ODB, (can't connect) the gauge cluster is limited and the aux is power cycling since the "discharge procedure.. that procedure being disconnecting the battery overnight and before hooking it back up to touch the pos and neg together leads while not connected to a battery to the system completely discharge, i assume this for for capacitance discharge. after this step is when the aux cycling started. I'm unsure how to go forward here, could it be the paslock brain that behind the dash has gone bad? has anyone see the solid light before and if so is there a solution? Thanks in advance guys.
  2. 04 1500 extended cab 4wd, parked it for 3 weeks while traveling, battery went completely dead... Charged battery and when I tried to start the truck the security light was on solid. not flashing like most paslock situations... The parking lights were on and everything else is locked out.. odb2 cannot connect. turning the key to the crank position turns all lights in the dash and marker lights off, but does not engage the starter solenoid with power. releasing the key back to on the on position returns all lights back to previous marker lights on. security light solid situation.. everything else locked out. Tried the standard relearn procedure... security light never goes out, stays solid for hours on end, I disconnected the battery and did the discharge procedure as described in several posts I've found, , on reconnecting the battery after the discharge, the accessory inside the truck is now cycling with or without the key on constantly as if the alarm is going off (no horn) exterior marker lights are solid not flashing, turning the key to the on position does not affect the accessory cycling. reset procedure does not work, the key can be left on for hours and never go out. Original keys and fobs 108k miles. original wiring, never tampered with. any suggestions appreciated.
