Cam, Thanks for the idea, and I probably should have added in the post that the battery tests good and cranks another V8 based vehicle after i charged it, it also holds, and has been holding 12.2 volt, so the battery is likely not not the problem.
I want to make sure everyone takes note that the security light is solid on, not flashing, generally when there are paslock problems, the light flashes and shuts the truck down according to every post i find about paslock issues, this is not the case here, this is a solid on security light and everything is locked out.. no ODB, (can't connect) the gauge cluster is limited and the aux is power cycling since the "discharge procedure.. that procedure being disconnecting the battery overnight and before hooking it back up to touch the pos and neg together leads while not connected to a battery to the system completely discharge, i assume this for for capacitance discharge. after this step is when the aux cycling started.
I'm unsure how to go forward here, could it be the paslock brain that behind the dash has gone bad? has anyone see the solid light before and if so is there a solution?
Thanks in advance guys.
