  1. Good ideas and good info. I was hoping to install Bilsteins since I’ve had good experiences with them several times in the past. Problem is I don’t know what (besides the springs) else I should replace. Just the rubber spring isolaters, jounce bumpers, and upper mounts if I go with the Bilsteins? Do the upper mounts last the lifetime of the truck?
  2. Thanks, only thing is I’m replacing just the front shocks are not the entire quick change assembly.
  3. Just purchased a garaged, one owner, 67k mile, Sierra 1500 Crew Cab. Shocks are bad, the sway bar links, and so are the tie rods. When replacing the front shocks, are there any bearings on the top cap that need replacement? I’m not too familiar with the vehicle. I know most cars that use struts, one should also replace the strut top bearings. Is there such a thing for these trucks? I didn’t exactly find the info I as looking for.
