  1. Yeah. Some people make covers for theirs. But I would just heat shrink and sleeve everything. Then it’s no different than any other connection you have in your engine bay. The terminal blocks are a WAY better option than just using butt connectors and leaving any in used switch pro wires exposed. Looks a lot better too. How would you do the switch pro otherwise if you only had, say half the buttons being used, then the other half of the wires would just hang there?
  2. Thanks. Tires are 285/75r17 nitto ridge grapplers. I’ll post more pics once I get it washed this weekend lol. Also just found some king 2.5s for the rear today so hopefully I’ll pick those up and get them installed.
  3. Finally got around to getting everything installed on the truck. Here are a couple quick pictures I took right after I picked it up. I'll get some more this week!
  4. This is what mine looks like. Yeah, primary battery has some kind of distribution box on top of it. The second battery spot is totally empty.
  5. On top of the tray for the switch pro?
  6. We are going to meet up and go through and try to figure out the best spot. The second battery tray is an option but people might have a battery there. Maybe on top of the fuse/relay box or something. That was part of my hope for the thread was to see if you guys have any suggestions or preferences?
  7. Hey guys, new to the forum. Been on here for about a year since I bought my 2018 z71 but just made an account this past weekend. Anyways, I started planning and ordering some parts for the truck and one of the things I plan on getting is a switch pros sp-9100. I have been looking around for mounting solutions and sdhq has a nice one but no one seems to make a tray for our trucks like all the Toyota guys have (see pictures). So I reached out to @sdoffroadmt on Instagram and started talking about possibly getting a tray developed for our trucks. I’m just putting some feelers out there to see if anyone here would be interested in getting something like these for their truck, is there a market for that here like there is for the Toyota’s? These trays really tidy up the switch pros wiring and give it a nice presentation. Let me know! Thanks guys.
  8. Cant wait for the pics. Also, my FedEx found my wheels and they are hopefully coming today!
  9. The squeaking might be from the poly bushings in the upper control arms. That would be my guess, poly bushing are notorious for that.
  10. Sorry to drag you back into this! Just thought I would try to answer your question if you hadn't already figured out the IFS stuff. The coilivers are adjustable by the threaded spring perch you can see at the top of the shock in the picture. As for the geometry, the new upper control arms are supposed to correct alot of it. BTW - Do you miss the 80 series? That has been a dream build of mine for a while now! My buddy is shopping for one at the moment.
  11. Yeah, I will definitely post some pics once I get everything installed. Currently waiting on my wheels from FedEx, already a week late . How are you liking the new suspension setup?
  12. Bummer to hear about the transmission. I have been on the forum for about a year now since I got my truck but finally decided to make an account because of this thread. Too bad I'm a couple years late to the party! I picked up my '18 Silverado about a year ago and told myself I wasn't going to do any mods to it but I have been drooling over other peoples trucks for a year so the wife gave me the go ahead this year for my birthday. I just ordered wheels, tires, king coilovers, and icon upper control arms. It's funny before stumbling on this thread to day I actually found a picture of your truck on google Henderson and did a photoshop edit of it when I was trying to decide what wheels to get LOL. Hopefully this thread continues would love to keep it going and see the progression on everyones rigs!
