Considering this for my 2019. Were these blocks flat? does your truck have the small factory shims, if so did you leave them on or take them off, any noticeable vibrations?
Thanks
I was under the same impression, fat end to the rear. However, I read a post where he flipped the shims around (fat end in rear) and the vibs got worse. Do you have aftermarket blocks in the rear or is it stock with the shim only?
I recently installed a 2" front level from Superlift on my 2019 Silverado LT 4x4 and I want to install 1.5" rear blocks to have some light rake for towing. My truck has NO factory blocks but it does have the small 2 degree shim with the fat end facing forward. I've read that some users are experiencing vibrations related to pinion angles when adding blocks to these trucks. I've also heard mixed answers from companies, Pro-comp says leave the factory shims in while Superlift says take them out. I'm planning on using flat 1.5" blocks and leaving the shim to start. Does anyone have personal experience with this that can verify what setup produces no vibrations (shim or no shim)?
