I actually knew truck was electric power steering but when the noise started I thought it was a ball joint and it just kept getting worse really quick and completely went out last night, I think I’m gonna try to do it myself and I’ll take it to dealer to have module programmed.

Power steering went out on my 2018 Silverado, truck has 82k miles and has never had a level or anything, truck made a bunch of crunchin and grinding noise before it completely stopped working I was wondering if anyone has changed the steering rack out themselves, it looks like it all comes together and how big of a job it is today without a lift.
