2020 Silverado
All my trailer lights work except the back up lights I added to my trailer. The lights worked fine on my Avalanche.
When I first connected the trailer I went through the profile set up. When testing the lights through the truck's test process that it does the backup lights come on as they should.
When you shift into reverse the backup lights will come on for about 2 seconds then turn off.
The dealer looked at just the truck and couldn't find any issues using their trailer plug tester.
My only thought so far is convert the backup lights from incandescent bulb to an LED bulb, maybe?
Any thoughts?
