  1. Here are pics of front and back. Notice the closed slot. I wonder if they kept it closed due to the rear buttons being an possible access hole. The only reason I am putting a new switch in is because the existing buttons are sticky.
  2. Thanks for the reply JImCost. My steering wheel has the radio control buttons on the back side of the wheel. The video does not have the same buttons as mine, but his steering wheel has an access hole which I do not have. Do you know if I can pull the radio buttons (reverse side) out in order to access the cruise switch? This might allow me to not mess with the air bag cover, which is the safe and wise thing to do. Thank you
  3. My cruise switch on the left side of the silverado steering wheel became sticky and gummy, so I bought a new GM replacement. A few replacement videos show a tech getting a tool into a hole on either side to push a tool in which releases the cover, but my wheel does not have any holes. I do have the volume buttons underneath the steering wheel. Can anyone help me with the proper steps of opening the air bag cover so that I can remove the old switch and install the new one? Thank you!
