    I am now on the 2nd HMI unit and still having an issue. The first one was a reman unit, old 2.0 version, poor purchase on my part. But I Just replaced and upgraded the HMI unit and Radio unit with brand new parts from Infotainment.com to have navi and apple CarPlay and it’s still acting up after 2 days so I’ll see what’s next… issues don’t make sense based on the system wiring and component diagram.

    My 2014 Silverado 1500 started the radio display issues about last year. Was a Minor problem, now it’s pretty much all the time, changing menus, channels, scrolling station list, also the gauge info screen changes to radio display. Now I’ve had the Hvac display pop up a few times without touching the controls and tonight the drivers seat heater came on when I ran out real quick, It’s 75 degrees out and the switch was off.. I feel like the Body control module is the problem on these. Seeing as the problems are not just in the radio and it’s totally random and never the same.
