  1. Yeah, I messaged GMC (probably a robo account) as much. Think I found a dealer outside of Texas that wants to deal. Have to wait for it to be built and delivered, but I guess we will see how it goes.
  2. I would've paid $250 no problem. They didn't want to budge at all so I left. One place I went wanted $3k add-ons and even less value, except 2 extra oil changes, so I offered $500 since the oil changes were worth a little. They said no also. They had that truck for a month and i guess don't want to sell it. IDK. Glad they didn't now since I've changed my mind and am getting the 2500HD instead. But still, it's crazy to me they don't want a bird in the hand, they'd rather try for 2 in the bush. I thought about messaging the owner to let him know they are actively turning away sales for $84k trucks. guaranteed $10k profit or so. Or a complaint to General Motors about all the nonsense trying to buy a truck. Not sure it would matter. It's definitely a reason companies are looking to go factory direct like Tesla. The customer buying experience is just abysmal. I appreciate your help though. I'll keep looking, guess I'll go outside of Houston area and see what I can find.
  3. Shame. They said they would do the supplier discount so i went in to sign some stuff to lock in a 2022 2500hd they have on order. But they wanted $1000 non-refundable deposit (really? you should hope i don't buy it so you can sell it to the next guy for more if they are so rare and selling so fast), and an extra $1900 for the BS add-ons they say they "have to do" for all their vehicles. So instead of selling an $84k truck now they rather hold out for $1900. wouldn't even let me order one without adding their dealer "package". I'm looking to buy the refresh when it comes in 2024 or so also, so they missed out on 2 trucks. Oh well. I'll just make my list longer and longer of dealers that want to keep doing this BS, and wasting my time. They don't tell me any of that over the phone or through all the emails, just wait until i'm there and like ok sign this which says we get to charge you blah blah $$$ for some stuff you don't need or want. Thanks but no thanks. I'll keep buying from the ones that that aren't trying to scam every customer out of every extra cent they can get. So that list might be short. ha.
