    On my 2014 V6 silverado i dropped the pan and changed the fluid. The fluid was very dark and the magnet also needed cleaning. I could not find a pan with a drain plug to replace original pan so i bought a plug on Ebay that has to be welded in. I would not trust the plugs that do not require welding. I will do a few more oil changes over the next year till the fluid looks clean. It wold be great if GM put it in at the factory , but they want to sell trannies and i do not trust a flush.
