I have the same problem on my 2016 silverado 1500. As i step on the brakes i hear a clicking sound, sounds like a spring stretching and unstreching. I took it to the dealership for inspection and the told me that it was my rear calipers that are making the noise and that it is somewhat common. Thats bs that should be a recall. I have new brakes pads and rotors and still have the noise. I am going to have to replace the rear calipers hopefully it resolves the issue.
