Wow- what a great looking truck. I wonder why some gassers that ordered in Dec/Nov are just sitting and other gas 2500hd ordered in 2022 are already delivered? Are the trucks from Canada shipping faster or are the older orders truly buried in Flint and will be the last to get dug out of the lot.

Trailblaster- when did you place your order? What trim level and is it a gasser?

I feel your pain. My 2500HD Custom was built in December and was initially “in transit” with first delivery date of January 6th. It’s been delayed every two weeks since the beginning of January. Every two weeks I check in with the dealer and they say- delayed again. ETA just moved from 4/15 to 4/28. I’m sure 4/28 will come and go. It’s certainly a lesson in patience. What are your thoughts about new trucks sitting unused in a Flint lot since January? Do you think this has any long term negatives from sitting other than surface rust? Just seems like it can’t be good in any way but could it be problematic?

That’s a great point about moving a sold vehicle quickly to help with allocations in the future. Thanks so much for the thoughts.

Quick question- do dealers get to chose which of their built trucks ship first to them? For example if they have 8 HDs “built” and “in transit”, can dealers chose which of their trucks ships first over others? I have a ‘22 Silverado Custom that was built in December and the arrival date has been pushed back 4 times despite being “in transit” since December. I am receiving the GM employee pricing so I absolutely have nothing to complain about but curious if a dealer can keep pushing my custom to the back of the line to prioritize higher trims and bigger over MSRP markups. Thanks for any thoughts or advice.

Apologies if this has been asked but I can’t find a firm answer. I have a 2022 Silverado 2500HD and hoping to not level the truck. Do you think 35x12.5 KO2s on Method 701HD wheels 18x9 +18 offset would fit without the need to level or fully crank the keys?
