I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 5.3 6 speed and after my drive from work(about a half hour or so) I put my truck in park and gave it some gas to hear the engine a little bit. I hit 2-2.5k rpms and the engine wouldn’t idle down it just held the rpms until I shut the vehicle off. Has anyone ever experienced something similar? Or know what the issue and how to fix it
