I just expire my warranty, so, my mileage is 160k.
Couple month ago, I got engine light pop up.
So, I checked OBD2 reader, and I got P06DA. The oil pump circuit open.
It is not always high. Then I started, it is 70, then almost 210, the temperature back to 40.In this situation, I deleted code, but still OBD2 read P06DA.
I read bunch of article and start fix my oil pump solenoid vale and PVC pump. Then still got the error code.
So, I checked oil pump wire connector, I found some problems.
The oil buildup around connector like the image, and inside of the connector have some oil.
Also, the connector can move easily left or right when I moving it. (I don't know, but I think it has to be thigh)
I just clean the connector with break cleaner and plug back in. Unfortunately, still have code in the OBD2.
In this case, should I have to replace the oil pump? (The engine sound pretty normal, I got problem, when the weather was very cold, the engine was very unstable after warm up back to normal)
If I have to, should I take down the oil pan? Because, I think, just unplug 2 bottom screws in the front engine cover, then I can access the oil pump with out 5-6 hour taking down oil pan.
Please help me some idea for solving this issues.
