Every dealer I’ve walked in regardless of brand claims the same but on the other hand dealer profits are up over 82%. I refuse to pay it as well that’s why I started this topic. If there’s a deal to be a had I think we all deserve to find it!

Hey guys, hoping this topic wasn’t created yet. I did a quick search on here and came up empty handed. I just wanted to reach out and get some real world feedback. Today I walked into 2 local dealers trying to work a deal on a 2022 Silverado Custom w/ the black out package. I don’t know the exact same of them package but it’s about a $47,000-$48,000 truck. Both dealers had a couple available in a few different color options that I was interested in. First dealer didn’t even want me to sit down to talk numbers once I asked what kind of deals they were doing. Second dealer gave me a list price of $48,260 + my state sales tax + $765 in fees. Being the truck is base inside aside from a infotainment screen which is basically a standard feature now I felt like I’d be paying to much. Am I looking at it wrong? Should I just settle for MSRP + taxes? Have you guys got any deals on 2022 Silverado 1500s regardless of trim? Would greatly appreciate some feedback here. Lastly I’m located in NY but I’m willing to travel out of state for an adventure and a deal lol. Any recommendations on dealers would also be appreciated. If there’s any good ones left lol
