Bought an original NEW OEM Samsung charging/data cord from Samsung, for the "Type C" USB Dash infotainment system and not working, a friend owns a Z71 and his works with Android Auto, but when he plugs into mine "nothing", they need an over-current protection fuse built into the modules with a 3.3V surge protection reset button recessed in a hole that can be reset with a paper clip. Either the module is burning out or the fuse on the mainboard of the infotainment system is getting fried. Either way, for as much as you pay for the damn trucks you would think an engineer at GM would realize this and call their "Electronics Supplier" to solve the issue, and maybe get an interpreter to speak the suppliers language! This is Bull Crap!
