  1. My 22 refreshed Trail Boss LT has the mutiflex tailgate and the inner tailgate will not deactivate by holding the top button for 3 seconds. As soon as you touch the top button it releases the inner tailgate. The dealership has tried to get it to work and couldn't. They don't know why it isn't deactivating or how to fix it. I guess I get to add this to the list of things that don't work in my $65000 truck.
  2. A GM feildengineer came out a little over a week ago to look at my truck. He brought a new controller switch with him and swapped mine out. I have only had the chance to tow with it once for about a 15 mile trip. So far everything is functioning as it should. I am planning on doing more towing this weekend. I will post afterwards to let everyone know if the truck is truly fixed.
  3. Well said!! I couldn't agree more!! It's just sad that in this crazy world we are living, big business no longer care about their customers. It seems making sales and lining their pockets is more important. We need to get as much information out to potential buyers as we can, so they don't have to deal with what we are currently dealing with. Again, that should be done by GM, not their customers. Nonetheless it needs to be put out to the public.
  4. My charging pad will not charge IPhones or Androids. The dealership said they have seen a few now that are faulty. They also told me that there are three different part numbers for the charging pad. Two are currently available and one is on back order. Mine is the one on back order and the parts are said to be not interchangeable. I'm surprised that GM has offered you a $1500 credit. It seems they haven't been offering much of anything to most people including myself. They shouldn't be giving any credits though, it should be checks to offset our inconvenience and payments on these expensive trucks. GM needs to get there sh** together before they continue to push there defective trucks out to their customers. It is frustrating that we as the consumer have to hold the bag for their mistakes. We just get to go along for an unpleasant ride at our expense and aggravation.
  5. Wow I'm surprised GM approved a buy back for you. I was denied for my buy back last week. I have seen on these forums that has been the case for many people effected by this same issue. Hopefully it all works out for you.
  6. What a Joke!!! GM say they don't like to hear of our issues and that customer service is important to them. That is bull****. We reach out and let them know whats going on, along with them confirming our issues with the dealerships; all for what? For them to say "sorry, we know it's tough to have a truck you can't tow with but we are trying to find a fix." In the meantime just keep making the payments and driving your truck as if it were a car until we eventually can make it right. This is totally unfair and not good customer service. How about stop selling these trucks until there is a fix, along with compensating the people who are currently affected by this issue.
  7. I have a 2022 refreshed Trail Boss LT that I am having this same trailer brake issue with, along with a couple other issues. My backup camera drops out intermittently, my wireless charger connects and disconnects over and over without charging any phone I have placed into it, and when I tow any of my trailers that don't have electric brakes(using the 4 pin plug) I get all kinds of error messages. The dealership gave me the bulletin on the trailer brake issue and told me they can't do anything with it until GM finds a fix. They also found codes for trailer turnsignal issues and a trailer brake gain issue. They assume these are related to the bulletin and want to wait to her more from GM. As for the backup camera, they couldn't get it to replicate the issue, but they did pull a code out of the computer. They told me that they have to replicate the problem before they can do anything about it. They also said they can't justify a tech sitting in the truck for an extended period of time to get it to replicate the issue. So I guess I just get to deal with it forever, unless it is related to the trailer issue. They did say that my charging pad is bad but they cant fix that either because the parts are not available. I did open a case with GM. They have basically told me that I am a guineapig and have to deal with the trailer issues until GM finds a fix. They are unsure why the camera is dropping out but want me to take it back to the dealership as soon as it happens again. I told them that is not feasible because it will not be out when I get to the shop, they said oh I guess your right. Then then told me I have to deal with it until the dealership figures it out. I then asked about my charging pad that is not available. All I got was a sorry but you will get one when they become available, which they have no clue how long that will be. The backup camera and charging pad are not huge deals, but for a $65000 truck they should work or be fixed in a timely manner. My major issue is the trailer stuff. I bought the truck to haul with, and I can't do that safely. GM doesn't give a crap and It's damn frustrating. I feel my only option is to trade it in for a truck that I can tow with and take a loss on the one I have only had for a little over two months.
