Nothing but problems with the mirrors and this truck overall since day 1 - I would hate to see what would happen if I were to use the truck everyday. It sure is "pretty" but I really have no confidence in its reliability whatsoever.

Have a 21 Sierra 1500 with power folding tow mirrors. I barely ever drive the vehicle, keep it covered in the garage when not using and truly "baby' it- only 27k miles on it since I took delivery. Unfortunately this truck has been nothing but problems- my most recent issue is that my passenger side power folding tow mirror will not open or close- totally dead. I already replaced the driver side one while the vehicle was under its 3 year bumper to bumper with a burned out motor (???). I noticed the passenger side getting weaker and weaker over time and brought it to the service advisor's attention when I brought it in for service while still under the 3 year but they refused to address it because they stated that it was still working. Now I have to deal with this being out of warranty. I had my last Sierra for 17 years without ever needing more than tires , brakes and oil changes, these new trucks are absolutely frustrating with the issues that they have. Does anyone know if GM has recognized a problem with these mirrors and is doing anything about them?- It seems that there are plenty of people complaining of issues with them.

Been having problems with my drivers side power tow mirror operating properly. At times it will not fold out more than 1/2 way without rolling down the window and pushing it out. This has been happening more and more frequently. Been to the dealer twice now and they can’t replicate it. They are telling me that they can’t do anything unless they are able to replicate it and video it to send in to GM for approval. Pretty much BS if you ask me- not happy- can’t keep wasting time with the truck at the dealership when it is new. GM customer service was absolutely horrible when I called for further assistance. Anyone else have any experience with problems like this with their power mirrors and any suggestions for getting this taken care of?
