  1. Hi - I'm not new to car audio and have installed my own system in my old 2008 Impala. I had an aftermarket head unit with three rca outputs. I have a crescendo bass clef bc2000d for my two kicker cvx 4ohm, and a pioneer gm-a4704 to power my mid's and highs which are two 2.75", 2 6/9, and two 6.5", all Kicker. I have seen people splice into the wires and run to their LOC. I have never used an LOC. I am going to buy an audio control lc7i, and was planning on buying a wiring harness. Would I have to run the wires from the harness to the back of the truck into the LOC? Could I tap into the wires going to the speakers instead? Would a harness even be worth it? I'm confused on the wiring. Another issue is the box. I've having a hard time finding a ported box to fit the subs. The have a 5.75" mounting depth. I know I need to buy a seat lift. I found a few people that make them online but they aren't very responsive. One is Subthump.com and Soundoff audio. He want's $400 which is crazy. If anyone can help me out with these issues I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi all - I have the above truck, it has an 8" touch display which comes standard in them, no Bose. I completely wired by 2008 Impala by myself. I put an aftermarket deck in it with three RCA outputs, easy. This Silverado obviously doesn't have any RCA's coming out of it and I need to use a LOC. I have a four-channel amp for my door speakers and a separate amp for subs. I saw some people using wiring harnesses, and some people splicing into the speaker wires. I bought a PAC 4 channel LOC and a Kicker two channel LOC. I was thinking of maybe getting a AudioControl LC7i which is one 6 channel LOC. How should I wire this and what should I do? This is all the help I need. I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!
  3. I have a 2018 silverado and I was wanting to know the same information. Measurements for a ported box for under the seat in my crew caw for two kicker cvx 12"s. Hopefully someoene will come through.
  4. Thanks. I was looking for a thread like that.
  5. Hi all - I am new to this forum and site. My Impala got totaled and I have a bad ass stereo system in it. Two amps and, kicker door speakers, and kicker 6x9s, and two 12 kicker cvx. How difficult is the install? The box doesn't seem like it could be big enough or even fit two 12's in the truck. Are there RCA cables in the factory deck? Any help or guidance would be appreciated. s
