My truck was straight off the trailer, it had 3 miles on it. The filter was indeed full, and they had to force the service regen. I haven't had the problem since but have been on the highway a lot the last two weeks. Overall, that's the only issue and I love this truck and the 25-28 mpg... That's a solid 7 mpg improvement over the 2020 5.3L
No normal in city with probably 40 miles of interstate/highway. I've kept the rpms fairly low and varied the mph per the manual on break in. Now most trips have been stop and go short trips but dang 120% soot at 190 miles and brand new. Hard to wrap my head around that.
Made it 6 days before I got the Reduced Acceleration message code P2463. Took back to dealer they did a service regeneration, said soot level was 120%? How can a truck that's been driven 6 days with 190 miles have 120% soot level in the particulate filter? I didn't get a keep driving message what happened to self regeneration? Is there a sensor or ECM problem that missed the regeneration? Very concerning being so new.
Hence why I haven't bought it. Sweet deal no doubt, I've got an a firm 16k off offer on the Ram that lists for 81k (ridiculous). Really want the AT4 so shopping hard, I've found some pretty good offers just bartering now.
I'm in the market, leaning towards a 2024 AT4 with 3.0 and wondering who's got the best deals? I love my GMC's but dang Ram in New Orleans is offering almost 20k of sticker price, which seems pretty enticing. Anyone seeing any great 2024 discounts on GMC's?
New to me 2020 under warranty and this column shifter has a horrible time finding drive. Sometimes it shows drive, take off and in low. Sometimes it stays in blank land. Is there an adjustment on this or a known issue for 2020? Thanks in advance.
Ok this one has me a little confused. It appears something leaked on the side of rear differential, but I can't tell from where? It's not leaking on garage floor and level seems perfect. Any thoughts what this could be from? This is a new to me 2020 with warranty.
