I have a 2018 2500hd CCLB. It is mainly used for pulling my 11,000 lb toyhauler. The truck has 40,000 miles. I started noticing recently that on longer trips, the further into the trip I get, the acceleration from a full stop becomes almost dangerous. When I begin the trip, acceleration is normal, but After driving for a few hours, if I come to a full stop and accelerate (stop sign or red light) I can put the pedal all the way to the floor, and it barely comes off idle. Around 4-5 seconds later it will slowly start to pick up rpm and then it’s fine until I stop again. Engine and trans temps are all in spec and no SES lights on the cluster.
Just trying to see if anyone else has experienced the same issue, and if so, what did you do to fix it.
