It went in to two wheel drive

Not sure got the truck not to long ago

I pulled the fuse and went in to 2x4 drove it around put the fuse back in went in to 4x4

I have a 2014 gmc 1500 it has the knob to shift in to 4x4 currently it’s stuck in four-wheel-drive it was sitting for a while so I had to jump it and after I jumped it. It says service 4x4 and you can turn the knob and the light will go out and not shift or do anything and it’s just stuck in 4x4 I plugged in a snap on scan tool and there was no coads so I’m not sure where to start I don’t want to just start throwing parts at it
