I’m having the same issue with my 23 Denali. It seems like a flat spot somewhere between 7th Or8th gear .. very concerning. I had a valve body installed and that didn’t help. It seems like a fairly common issue that the service department should have an answer for. Evidently not . But for some reason valve bodies have a back order that is a few months out. Go figure. I’ve only had the truck for two weeks. No service reports prior to my purchase. Pretty bummed. I love gm products. Traded in my 04 duramax for this. Was this a bad move ?

Have you had any hard shifts or transmission issues? I have a 23denali and I bought it 2 weeks ago and have had a valve body put in the trany ( didn’t help) , a nox sensor go bad and now an air filtration system issue . Other than it’s great . I have herd people are having a hard time getting valve bodies , so that tells me there is a common trany issue

I bought a 23 2500denali with 38k just last week out of state. Beautiful truck ! Got 1 hour away from dealership and trany shifted hard light came on with reduce speed warning. Limped back to a local dealership and had a valve body installed. Had to stay 2 extra nights in a hotel. But that was alright if that fixed the problem. 400 miles later I felt a shudder and 200 miles after that another shudder and the light came back on. 2 1/2 hours away from home on I-5. I drove it home hoping the transmission would explode and get a new one. Not so lucky. I have and appointment for Thursday at the local dealership. I had him pull the code and it wasn’t transmission related I’m driving it around town and it still shudders at certain times. It sounds like it’s a fairly common issue. What a shame !

I had a valve body put in last week and the same sh*t is still happening. Mine is a 23 2500 Denali. I waited a few years for this new transmission to work out the bugs before I bought one. Evidently money is more important to them than we are . Keep building them and deal with the problems as they arise. Pretty poor business model. I digress. so the way I see it , every vehicle is just a computer with wheels, so they should be able to run a diagnostic on it and see the problem even without an active code . Imo
