  1. Very same issue with a Chevy 2500 HD 2016 (variety of blinking console warnings, starter won't activate on moist cool mornings), and here's the solution!!! THERE'S A GROUNDING STRAP FROM THE COMPUTER MODULES DOWN TO THE FRONT WHEEL-WELL LOCATIONS ON THE FRAME, BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE. WITH AGE AND CORROSION, THESE GROUNDING CONNECTIONS BECOME INTERMITTENT WITH MOISTURE. FIX IS QUICK: (1) Find a 10 mm wrench or socket, remove the bonding bolt, (2) Use a piece of sandpaper or emery cloth to remove the corrosion on the strap eyelet and the frame, (3) re-apply the grounding bolt. THE DRIVER SIDE STRAP APPEARS TO HAVE THE MOST SIGNIFICANT IMPACT, BUT CLEAN UP BOTH!
