    I am a dealer in Canada. Bought a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado and found immediately that when I stopped and went to get the key out of the ignition it wouldn't come out. It was stuck. If you wait several minutes it will release. There must be a timing mechanism. If you keep the key in the cylinder the radio will still run and will kill the battery. Read this forum and we changed a few parts with out success that others suggested. We ended up determining the fault is in the shift control. GM Part number is 8505304. The part is $296.29. About 1 hour to install and now works like a charm.
