2019 Silverado 1500 RST newer body style 5.3.
I went in today for the ground wire recall service. When the service was finished I got in my truck my parking sensors were not longer working. Has anyone had this happen? When I turn the truck on, the parking sensor light illuminates for a couple seconds and shuts itself off. When I press the button, even though it is not illuminated, I then get an alert that the parking sensors are off. Cross traffic alerts no longer works or distance sensors to object. The blind spot detection in the mirrors works however. The service desk woman accused me of having stone chips that are causing the issue. Unbelievably frustrating. The service manager said they would look at it tomorrow and I have to go back tomorrow.
